Title: Artificial intelligence Movement between human creativity and logic machine

Biography

Biography: Mr. Mohammed Buallay

Abstract

AI makes us ask some deep questions. What it means to be human? Does our intelligence make us human? What if we create machines that rival or surpass that intelligence? These are vital questions for us to discuss over the next couple of decades as AI begins to supplant human dominance in more and more domains. Similar to our intelligence as a whole, a lot of people feel that creativity is an attribute that is solely in the purview of humanity. I think there is some non-mechanical element of our species that gives us superior mental capacity to what a computer will ever achieve with silicon, I believe the ability to exhibit creativity will be forever beyond the reach of AI. In order to make AI creative we have to define creativity and here is the biggest problem. There is no definition for creativity. Each human have its own definition of creativity. Now the question is can an algorithm do what it isn’t programmed to do? So it cannot possibly do anything novel. Any product of the algorithm is solely a demonstration of the programmer’s creativity, not the machines. So it really does depend on how you define creativity.
