Ashraf Elnagar is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sharjah, UAE. He received his BSc and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Kuwait, Kuwait, and his and PhD (1993) from the University of Alberta, Canada. Recently, He formed the Machine Language & Arabic Language Processing Research Group in the University of Sharjah. He won a number of teaching, research and community and professional service awards. He is the recipient of the 1999 Shoman’s Best Young Researcher Award in the fields of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics in the Arab World. He supervised and examined numerous graduate students. He is serving on the editorial board of international journals as well as technical program committees of international conferences. His research interests include: machine learning, natural language processing, intelligent systems (robotics), and IT education.

Tarry is an industry-acknowledged Deep Learning Executive with over 17 years of experience setting up data analytics divisions for F500 multi-nationals. He is currently a mentor at Courser’a DeepLearning Specialization working with Andrew Ng, the world’s leading figure in Artificial Intelligence. He worked as engineer at a company and lecturer in universities of Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia. He is Professor of Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University has supervised around 100 Professional Engineer 15 M.Sc. and 7 Ph.D students. His key research are Productivity Theory for Industrial Engineering, Gyroscope Theory and Wind Turbines that represented by 7 books, 30 brochures and more than 300 manuscripts in reputed journals and 60 patents.

Jie Mei is researcher at Deepkapha.ai and a third year doctoral student in medical neuroscience at Charité – Universtätsmedizin Berlin. Before moving to Germany, Jie received a research master in cognitive science from École normale supérieure, France (2015). Prior to her PhD, Jie has worked at Karolinska Institute, CNRS, SISSA and University of Trieste in the area of neuroscience, with a focus on brain computer interface and computational modeling of the cortico-striatal-thalamic circuitry. Currently, Jie is applying machine learning methods to improve the quality of medical data analysis and trying to understand how neuroscience research could lead to better deep learning models.

Dr. Manar Fawzi Hosny is an Assistant Professor and the vice chair of the Computer Science Department, College of Computer and Information Sciences (CCIS), King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has a BSc and MSc in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo. She has PhD from Cardiff School of Computer Science and Informatics, Cardiff University, UK, 2010. She is member in ACM and IEEE. Her main research area is in metaheuristic algorithms and combinatorial optimization; besides, HCI, bioinformatics, data mining, social network analysis and technology in education.
